The "Fifth Rib" is one of the most prized cuts of beef available, much sought after by butchers. This Fifth Rib red blend is made from juicy malbec, spicy syrah and the little known ancellotta grape which brings structure and harmony.

Production

Selected from vineyards in Maipoy Santa Rosa, Mendoza.

Thermo Maceration and pomace pressing. Fermentation with selected yeasts at 23-25 °C. Centrifuged and malolactic fermentation completed. Conservation in concrete tanks.

Tasting Notes

Malbec, Syrah and Ancellotta are combined to produce this complex and balanced wine. Ruby red with violet tones. On the nose it has floral aromas, violets and red fruits, that come from Malbec. Syrah brings spicy notes. Juicy and full bodied with silky tannins. The Ancellotta complements the blend providing a harmonious structure and persistent length.

A fabulous match to char-grilled steaks or robust red meat dishes.
