Ignacio Ameztoi constitutes the seventh generation to carry on the tradition of making Txakolina.
The organic Bodegas Ameztoi is situated in the fishing village of Getaria, deep in the heart of the Basque country of northern Spain, overlooking the Bay of Biscay. The Ameztoi family have run the estate for seven generations utilizing the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondurrabi Beltza grapes to produce light, crisp wines bottled with residual carbon dioxide to give the wines their signature natural spritz.

In the traditional style of Getaria, this light and crisp wine is bottled with a little bit of residual carbon to give it its signature natural spritz. Bright briny sea salt combined with limey fruits. Fresh and eminently quaffable, tastes like joy and springtime.
Try with a plate of salted anchovies and black olives. Also great with scallops with chorizo or grilled mackerel with a sage sauce.
