In the words of the Isley Brothers, some time in the early 1970s ... "Summer breeze makes me feel fine" ... and this glorious Garnacha certainly does. We've worked with Borsao winemaker, Jose Luis Chueca to create a perfectly balanced Garnacha (with a touch of Syrah) to capture the very essence of this beautiful variety ... oh, and Brisa de Verano means 'summer breeze' in case you were wondering!
The predominantly Garnacha fruit is selected from hillside plots of low yielding bush vines.
Garnacha and Syrah are vinified separately in stainless steel with up to 15 days maceration, then combined to make the final blend.
Pronounced aromas of dark plum and bramble fruit with hints of peppery spice. The palate has layers of red fruit, blackberry and mocha notes, together with ripe tannins. The result is a rich and complex red with a full finish.
Pair with rich stews, sausages and chorizo dishes.
