Les Vignerons des Terres Secrétes is a group of 352 growers founded in 1928, with just over 1000 hectares under vine in the appellations of Mácon, Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé. Their winery is in the Máconnais village of Prissé.
Recently, winemaker Georges Brichon has started vinifying a number of top sites separately in either small, stainless steel vats or in some cases barrel-fermenting the parcels to produce a range of top-class wines from the Máconnais. The red wines have also improved in quality as a result of more meticulous work in the vineyard and more precise vinification.
Tasting Notes
A great value St-Veran with peach, orange blossom and honeysuckle aromas. Soft and rounded with ripe peach, honey notes, citrus fruits and a touch of creamy vanilla, with a fresh, zesty, mineral finish.
