One of the original vermouths, created in Turin in the mid-1700s. The original vermouth rosso has been followed by a range of other variants, from the famed Extra Dry to special editions produced in conjunction with fashion labels and celebrities. Despite the growth and their status as a household name, they still stick to their guns and produce a core range of traditional vermouths.
The Dry expression of Cinzano 1757 features wormwood among its selection of botanicals, and built upon a base of Italian wines, this should make for some excellent cocktails.
Delicate herbal aromas of mint, sage, oregano and thyme lead the nose, alongside citrus, orange blossom and warm spices. The palate offers dry, mouth-warming notes of Mediterranean herbs, citrus, bitter wormwood and spices.
