Jura whisky comes from a place of contrasts. A wild shoreline of craggy rocks battered by the open seas on one side, to secluded sandy bays with calm waters on the other. From the sweetness of Origin to the smokiness of Superstition you'll find the nature of the Island of Jura reflected in it's whisky and you'll taste the difference in every drop.
The only (legal) distillery operating on the island of Jura to the north of Islay. With less than 200 people living on the island, it's at the heart of their community and sits in the middle of Craighouse, the island's biggest town.
At the peak of the Jura distillery's core range (relaunched in mid-2018) sits the Isle of Jura 18 Year Old. This expression aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux barrels.
Aromas of toffee, tropical fruits and cinnamon. Flavours of rich black forest fruit, cocoa and coffee.
