Ramsbury are first & foremost farmers, with a deep-rooted understanding that the more they care for the landscape around them, the more it will give back. The Ramsbury Estate is 19000 acres of prime farm land in Wiltshire. Their vodka and gin are field to bottle spirits produced from heritage Horatio wheat from the estates own fields.
The copper stills use heat generated by a biomass boiler fed by the estates own sustainable woodland, and once the distilling is complete, the spent grains are fed to the animals on the farm. The waste water is cleaned by a wildlife friendly reed bed system which then feeds into the estates lake.
