Since St. George Spirits was founded in 1982, they have grown from a dedicated eau de vie distillery into a diverse operation that makes a range of craft spirits.

Then: a bare-bones production facility with tasting tables jerry-rigged on sawhorses.
Now: a 65,000-square-foot hangar with a spectacular tasting room, laboratory, and a line-up of the most beautiful copper stills in the industry.

Then: a one-man operation.
Now: a diverse team of individuals passionate about artisan spirits.

It"„¢s a lot to be proud of. But it didn"„¢t happen overnight.

St. George head distiller Dave Smith searched high and low for the perfect ingredients to create an homage to New Orleans"€œstyle coffee. Ethiopian Arabica coffee beans, French-roasted chicory root, Madagascar vanilla, and organic cane sugar impart just the right balance of flavours. Their cold-infusion method captures all the bold, fruity, elegant flavours from the beans, whilst keeping any astringency to a minimum.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of espresso, dates, Dundee cake, blueberry and a herbal, slightly pepperminty floral note. Rich and quite savoury, balanced with cane sugar and treacle notes. Increasingly chocolatey. The palate screams with rich coffee cake with coffee beans as well as roasted notes, more dates, treacle and dark chocolate. Very long, rich and earthy finish. Both slightly sweet and slightly bittersweet.

Whether you're enjoying it neat, using it as a cocktail ingredient or simply splashing it over ice-cream, it's absolutely, absurdly delicious.
