Then: a bare-bones production facility with tasting tables jerry-rigged on sawhorses.
Now: a 65,000-square-foot hangar with a spectacular tasting room, laboratory, and a line-up of the most beautiful copper stills in the industry.
Then: a one-man operation.
Now: a diverse team of individuals passionate about artisan spirits.
It's a lot to be proud of. But it didn't happen overnight.
St. George Pear Brandy is made from aromatic dry-farmed, organic Bartlett pears - and they pack about 30 pounds of fruit into every 750ml bottle!
Aromas of freshly prepared Pear Tarte Tatin with crispy pastry and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon. Maybe even a slice of apple pie alongside. Firm but juicy pear flesh, pear peel and old fashioned pear drops coated with plenty of icing sugar on the palate. The finish is warming with cinnamon and icing sugar lasting. Pure and simple, it's everything you could want from pear eau-de-vie.
