AWRS

From 1 April 2017, it becomes a legal requirement for all alcohol wholesalers who supply alcohol to other businesses to be registered in the Alcohol Wholesaler Registration Scheme (AWRS). This scheme was introduced by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to tackle alcohol fraud.
