Producer Information

The Garcés Silva family have long had a deep connection to nature. With a long tradition of cultivating the land, passed down through generations.

In 1999, the Garcés Silva family planted the first vines at their property becoming pioneers in the Leyda Valley. Since that date they have become experts in cool-climate wines, distinguished by their passion for creating renowned coastal wines that capture the essence of the terroir.

They built a state-of-the-art winery in 2002, which was the first of its kind in the Leyda Valley and then launched the Amayna range in 2003 and the Boya range later, which are considered driving forces behind the rise to fame of wines from the Leyda Valley.

Production

Very classic vintage with a slightly temperate finish. Blocks were picked between the 1st and 20th of April 2022. Fruit selection mainly
at vineyards. Hand-picked.

Cold soak at 10 °C for 3 to 4 days. The blend has 8 different lots with 10% to 20% whole cluster.

Stainless steel with gentle short pump overs for not over extracting.

Barrel aging: 16 to 20 months in French oak foudres and barrels.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in colour with violet hues, Amayna Côte D´Mar is a red blend that harmoniously combines the intensity of Syrah, the freshness of Grenache, and the subtle perfume of Viognier.

On the nose, it reveals ripe red and black fruits such as raspberries and blackberries, complemented by delicate floral notes, spices, and a subtle mineral
touch.

The palate offers a balanced structure with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, and a persistent finish that highlights its elegance.

Perfect to pair with lamb, spiced dishes, or aged cheeses.
