Bellucci Tamjanika

Erdevik Winery is located in the village or Erdevik, in the Western foothills of Alma Mons (Fruska Gora). Surrounded by low hills in Fruska Gora and vast plains to the South. Located 140 meters above sea level, Erdevik, with its three lakes is one of the most beautiful villages in the region of Syrmia (Srem). Vines were first planted here in 276AD during the reign of Roman Emperor Probus.

Muscat Blanc a Petit Grains,

They carefully selected location where to plant their vineyards. Breskvik micro-location turned out to have the best terroir (climate and soil influence) in Fruska Gora appellation. Their grapes are ripening in the best possible way getting the sunlight both from the sun and as a reflection of river Danube. During the summer and early winter cool air flows from Fruska Gora forest so grapes achieve appropriate freshness, fruitiness and acidity becoming fully balanced.

Soil is multilayered full of minerals which provides robustness and complexity in wines. On the surface soil is alluvial with several layers of clay and limestone where plant roots are reaching fossilized segments of shell and coral remained from Pannonian sea sediments.

Tamjanika is a local Serbian Muscat-type grape variety. Erdevik's Tamjanika grapes come from the micro-location Gvozdenjak.

100% stainless thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. First fermentation: 14-20 days depending on tasting. Malolactic fermentation in barrels: Addition of yeast. Fermentation temperature 20 °C. Daily tasting. Aging: Stainless steel. Duration: 3 months.

The taste is full and elegant, with pleasant acidity, a clearly balanced floral-fruity character, and a complementary mineral tone at the end. Tamjanika Bellucci is an intense and persistent wine with a long, fresh and intense finish.

Pairs well with white meat, mixed fish and shellfish dishes, cooked vegetables, salads, various types of cheese.
