Producer Information

`Il Folle` in Italian means the mad one, a wild and gregarious joker. These wines embody the best of the Sicilian landscape and warm southern character, resulting in wines brim-full of freshness and flavour. The Nero d'Avola is crafted from hand-harvested grapes from the hills surrounding the town of Marsala. It truly reflects the best characteristics of this varietal, the king of Sicilian grapes.

The Grillo is fresh, bright and easy-drinking, the perfect accompaniment to lighter pasta dishes and fish, especially spaghetti alla vongole where the saltiness of the clams really brings out the Grillo`s citrus quality. These wines are certified organic as of 2019, and represent stunning value for money.

This wine seduces the palate with elegant aromas of exotic flowers and tropical fruits. The glass is full of nectarine & ripe citrus… like walking through a Mediterranean lemon tree field with some lemon balm growing in the hedgerow!
