Kirkton Estate traces its story back to 1830, when John Busby planted vines in the Hunter Valley. His son, James Busby, would go on to become known as the Father of the Australian Wine Industry, importing vines from France and Spain, and writing the country’s first textbooks on viticulture.
That pioneering DNA still runs through Kirkton Estate today: respect for tradition, an eye for innovation, and wines that showcase the best of their region.

This is a classic Adelaide Hills Shiraz that pays respect to the great Adelaide Hills style, rich berry fruit, cassis and a leathery chocolatey nose. The palate is soft and gentle with a firm dry finish and a lingering earthy note.
