Producer Information

Cielo e Terra is a joint venture between the Cielo family, who have been making wine for over a century in Veneto and Puglia, and growers Cantina Sociale Colli Berici.

Drawing on Colli Berici’s vineyard resources, combined with the Cielo’s winemaking skills, their partnership consistently produces wines from both indigenous and international varieties that represent fantastic value for money.

Production

Vineyards are situated on alluvial soils within the DOC Delle Venezie, where the moderate climate and cool breeze from the Alps helps maintain fresh acidity in the wines. Day-night temperature variation helps to develop incredible aromatic intensity; whilst rainfall is usually sufficient to avoid the need for irrigation.

The grapes are harvested by hand, softly pressed, with oxidative handling during fermented in stainless steel, without undergoing malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Notes

Aromatically complex, with beautifully integrated wildflower and ripe fruit notes. Whilst the palate has plenty of character, with orchard fruit, white flowers and ripe citrus.

Perfect with fish, vegetables and white meat-based dishes.
