Masons Yorkshire Gin is a spirit that wears its Northern heritage with pride. Established by husband and wife team Karl and Catherine Mason in 2013, the gin brand has been working hard to showcase some of the county’s finest attributes, from lavender to tea.
While the botanical line-up for Masons Yorkshire Gin is undisclosed, based on images shared, it is likely to contain (amongst others) juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, cardamom, cinnamon, dried lemon peel, fresh lime peel, bay leaf and fennel.
Juniper, citrus & fennel along with 'a secret list of botanicals’.
Aniseed and liquorice straight off the bat coming from the fennel seeds. Some maltiness too.
Specifically fennel now, getting towards liquorice. This is still very much gin though, with notes of juniper and pine.
