Product Information

Milk & Honey are an urban distillery. Located in one of Tel Aviv’s up and coming neighborhoods. M&H is a part of the city’s fabric, among entrepreneurs and innovators, makers and artisans. The distillery was designed and built to be in the directors hometown, along with the beachfront, the lively markets and the architecture.

Israel’s 300 sunny days in an average year and the Mediterranean climate are the distilleries greatest advantage. Hot climate maturation means that the whisky ages rapidly, yet significantly, gracefully. Whisky made in warmer weather takes on specific terroir which yields unique flavors that somewhat differ from their Old-World counterparts. M&H's methods, technique and equipment carry on centuries-old knowledge and they keep the tradition of a minimum of three years of aging.

M&H Elements Sherry Cask

Bourbon cask, Pedro Ximinez Sherry cask, Olorosso Sherry cask.

Named "world’s Best Single Malt Whisky" at the world World Whisky Awards 2023. The sherry casks for this edition, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez, were made especially for the distillery. The casks, once filled with quality sherry and seasoned for one year in Spain, were brought to the distillery to mature the M&H New-Make spirit for a wonderful complex whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dominant rich red fruit notes, covered by gentle oak, caramel scent and lemon freshness.

Palate: Medium bodied. Light fruity sherry sweetness, rich fruits and dark chocolate, followed by gentle oaky notes.

Finish: Long. The dark chocolate notes linger in the palate for a while, followed by tobacco and oak notes.
