Noble Rebel Orchard Outburst Blended Malt

Loch Lomond is probably Scotland's most versatile distillery in terms of the number of different styles of whisky produced for different purposes on one site. In addition to its two traditional pot stills and a Coffey still, the distillery is also equipped with four Lomond stills, these have a traditional pot still base, but with the addition of a rectifying column instead of the traditional swan necks. Varying the distillation techniques has enabled the distillery to produce no less than eight different single malts (plus numerous grain whiskies and blends) of different styles on one site.

Time-honoured expertise in distillation and blending takes us from the traditional whiskies of old to three contemporary, bright new blends. Blends that boast new narratives, shape beautiful contradictions, and create compelling stories. Blends that redefine the norm and redraw the boundaries. Nobel Rebel is a new range put together by the team at Loch Lomond and are the first whiskies to be produced on site using spirit from outside sources instead of relying on their own large range of styles and still types.

Each of the Noble Rebel whiskies are matured in handpicked oak casks to give a liquid palette of options to choose from. Finally, Michael Henry, Master blender, puts together the final blended malts, each one with it's own serve and story to tell/

Michael Henry is Loch Lomond's brilliantly talented Master Blender. With over 30-years of experience in the drinks industry – he’s a true maverick who knows his art inside out; and has the portfolio to prove it. Noble Rebel is his most recent work.
