Producer Information

Florence and René-Henri both come from wine-making families in the Minervois. What makes them stand out is the way they don't only produce the wonderful intense red wines the region is best known for, but also succeed in producing modern more technical wines. The Viognier is a triumph - made to be fresh and elegant even in this warm part of France. The rosé is superb. The Minervois Les Eolides and La Liviniere are great exemples of Minervois at ils best. The Petit Verdot takes these traditional skills and applies them with a twist to grape better known in Bordeaux.

The wine is aged for 10 months before bottling, 75% in stainless steel, 25% in oak casks.

Tasting Notes

Deep colour. Rich black fruit flavours. Full and smooth. Has the classic blackberry flavour profile of Mouvèdre but unlike many examples of the grape is ready to drink young, with very smooth tannins.
