Made by Boutinot is more than just their vineyards and cellars in France, Italy and England. It's their longstanding relationships with hundreds of winegrowers around the world. People in places like Australia, Argentina and the USA. Boutinot craft their wines by both vinifying fruit from their own vineyards, and by selecting and blending wine from partner growers. Bouinot's dedicated product managers (including two Masters of Wine) work hand in hand with their experienced and highly talented winemakers and blenders. Together they bring our winemaking philosophy to life. It's their mission to ensure all Made by Boutinot wines are crafted to taste the way a Boutinot wine should. Never losing sight of their vision to create high quality wines at every price point.
Long standing working relationships with growers enable us to source premium fruit, with the ultimate aim of making excellent quality Australian house wines with true style and character. The grapes are picked at night/dawn to keep them as cool as possible. Grapes were picked earlier than usual for this area to ensure balance and freshness in the final wine. They are gently crushed to maintain the bright, fresh flavours crucial to the clonal tang. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel retains the fresh fruit character of this 100% un-oaked wine.
Crisp, textural and fleshy. An elegant and easy drinking wine. This vibrant Chardonnay exhibits lifted fruit character, bright tangerine fleshiness, textural mouth-feel, a bright palate and a long and foodie finish. The judicious addition of Langhorne Creek Chardonnay adds palate weight and texture.
Drink with full-flavoured fish such as trout or halibut or chicken in a light creamy sauce.
