Producer Information

3F Wines was founded in 2021 by three wine professionals, with the aim of supporting small producers through sales and marketing services. They have also created their own entry‑level series, The Blenders Project, with the oenological contribution of Vasiliki Akriotou and production at the Kintoni winery, in order to present an accessible and modern wine proposition.

Production

The fermentation is is made in small tanks and part of the wine ages in new oak barrels for another 4 months.

50/50 Merlot and Mavro Kalavritino which is the black grape that is local to mountainous Aigialeia region of the Northern Peloponnese.

Tasting Notes

Optically we have a bright ruby colour. It is characterized by strong aromas of sour cherry, cherry, raspberry, bilberry, with notes of spices and vanilla to follow. On the palate it is of moderate body, with velvety soft tannins, lively acidity and pleasant aftertaste.

Pair with vegetables stuffed with rice and baked in the oven, juicy burgers or cold cuts.
