Product Information

Whittaker's is a family business run by Jane & Toby Whittaker from Harewell House Farm in the heart of Nidderdale in North Yorkshire.

In the summer of 2018, Toby & Jane embarked on expanding their capacity and decided to build a new distillery building so they could welcome the public through their doors so they could join them on our journey and new projects. The first one being making Whisky, keep an eye out for a very special, limited edition batch coming soon.

Their aim is to produce an artisan small batch, handcrafted spirit which reflects the Yorkshire countryside in a bottle.

2025 Ex-Pedro Ximinez Cask

This glorious whisky is a marriage of casks 20 and 37 both made with Laureate barley, casked in August 2020 and bottled in March 2025.

Tasting Notes

Whittaker's take great care to ensure all the ingredients which go to create their whisky, are carefully selected. The water is from the spring on the distillery site of Harewell House Farm and the barley is grown at the end of the river Nidd on another family farm, Poplars Farm, Ferrensby owned by Andrew and Ione Cumming (née Whittaker).

A beautifully smooth full-bodied sherry aged whisky with lots of heavy fruits like Christmas pudding, figs and almonds.  There are only 355 bottles.
