Berry's Brothers and Rudd was founded in 1698, making it one of the oldest wine merchants in the world. BBR also produce their own liqueurs (The Kings Ginger Liqueur being one of the most popular) and release lots of wonderful whiskies and rums as an independent bottler.

Nicaragua Rum

Nicaragua rum is known for its approachable style and slow maturation, due to its cooler climate. Aromas of cocoa nibs, maple syrup and tobacco lead us into the undergrowth of the Nicaraguan rainforest. Touches of moss, overripe lime and camphor appear on the palate, while the finish persists with caramelised sugar and sweet wood. Truly, an enervating specimen.

Distilled and matured in Nicaragua.

Tasting Notes

The bouquet has a fruity sweetness, coffee and delicate woodspice which developes on the palate to a long and characterful finish.
