The history of Campari began in Novara in 1860, with the invention of the original recipe that is still in use today. In 1904 Campari's first production plant was opened in Sesto San Giovanni and the company began to export the brand overseas. It was the beginning of a success story that today still has no sign of stopping.

Today the Campari brand is distributed in over 190 countries and is one of the most famous brands in the world.

The recipe, which has remained unchanged, is the base for some of the most famous cocktails around the world. Obtained from the infusion of bitter herbs aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. With its vibrant red colour, intense aroma and inspiring flavour, Campari has always been a symbol of intrigue and pleasure, which unfurls itself into a captivating drinking experience. These are the values that have made the Campari brand famous throughout the world as an icon of passionate Italian style and excellence.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of orange peel, sherbet, ruby red grapefruit, quinine, bayleaf and cherry with a hint of herbal woodiness. The palate shows herbaceous quinine bitterness balanced with syrupy sweetness flavoured with blood orange zest, mint, cherry and honey.
