The first Drop from a series of rare, small-batch cask releases, which have been hand-selected by the Founder and Master Distiller, Lewis Hayes, to showcase the creativity and craft at DropWorks.

This debut release showcases DropWorks Rum, crafted at the DropWorks Distillery and matured for 17 months in English sweet chestnut wood. Limited to just 450 bottles, this is a unique opportunity to start your collection today.

The sweet English Chestnut wood brings an entirely new flavour profile to rum, something that most won’t have experienced before. Traditionally, rum is aged in oak casks, which add familiar notes of vanilla, coconut, and white chocolate thanks to natural lactones in the wood. The English Chestnut wood creates a nutty, rounded flavour profile, with notes of milk chocolate praline, roasted chestnuts, and warm Autumnal tones.
