Product Information

Originally produced as a medicinal tonic wine, Lillet quickly became popular thanks to its flavour. The company have produced a range of different aromatised wines over the year, many of which have since disappeared, such as the famed Kina Lillet used to make James Bond's Vesper Martini. Now famed for their light and fruity aperitivo, the company continues to thrive.

A new product for the 21st century from Lillet, on release its first in more than 50 years. It's a blend of red and white Bordeaux wines mixed with herb and fruit liqueurs before ageing in oak. An exceptional aperitif in the same vein as its rightly famed Blanc and Rouge.

Tasting Notes

A burst of fresh, lively flavours that tantalise the taste buds. The initial sweetness is perfectly balanced by a delightful tanginess, creating a mouthwatering harmony. The promised red berry notes come alive on the palate, joined by hints of rose petals and a subtle tannic structure from the wine base. The subtle oak influence adds a touch of vanilla and spice, rounding out the flavour profile. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a lingering citrus zest that leaves you wanting more.
