Producer Information

The Dot range is made by the world famous producer Wiengut R&A Pfaffl in the Lower Austria wine region of the country. The range made up of both native and international grape varieties. These wines offer a fantastic introduction to another of Europe's amazing wine producing nations.

They were named European Winery of the Year 2016 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

"It’s a huge premiere for us and very exciting! For the first time, Pfaffl is now also available alcohol-free!

We spent a long time perfecting this. Our goal was to create a product for lovers of fine wine who are currently choosing to avoid alcohol – and there are many reasons to do so. In our case, it was a happy one: our Julia had a baby!

The challenge was to preserve the fruitiness and freshness while keeping the product sustainable and natural. In our search for possibilities, we rediscovered an old method: the production of verjus. This involves harvesting grapes very early, before they become sweet – ideal for achieving a dry taste profile. The juice is bottled unfermented – alcohol-free and low in calories."

Tasting Notes

You’re welcomed by a brilliantly fruity aroma of grapes and green apples. On the palate, it’s fresh and lively, with a hint of spice, plenty of fruit, and a very delicate mousse. Served in a wine glass, it makes a perfect aperitif and pairs beautifully with light dishes – from vegan and vegetarian options to fish and poultry. It also complements spicy Asian cuisine wonderfully. For those who enjoy conscious indulgence – without compromising on style.
