Maison Ferrand Owner and Master Distiller, Alexandre Gabriel works closely with distilleries across the Caribbean and America's crafting rums, they are left to age in warm Caribbean cellars for the initial part of their life. During the secondary process, the rums are exported to Cognac where they undergo a series of age old Cognac making techniques. This centuries old application is known by the French as 'elevage' and the process used is unique to Plantation. Vibrant, full flavoured Caribbean rums, finished with French finesse.

Nose: A captivating first impression reminiscent of old Bourbon, with rich vanilla and warm cinnamon leading the way. Ripe banana and golden honey mingle with nutmeg, roasted almonds and a hint of leather. Subtle cocoa and toasted oak bring an additional depth while a gentle floral touch lingers in the background.

Palate: Bold yet velvety, balancing warmth and roundness. Vanilla and buttery caramel coat the palate, followed by citrus and ripe pear. Coconut and sweet spiced, (clove, pepper and liquorice), add complexity whilst tobacco and toasted oak provide structure.

Finish: Very long and evolving revealing layers of dried fruits, dark cherry and roasted hazelnut. Coffee, honey and allspice merge with gentle vegetal notes of thyme and chicory.
