Whittaker's Gin is a family business run by Jane & Toby Whittaker from Harewell House Farm in the heart of Nidderdale in North Yorkshire.

In the summer of 2018, Toby & Jane embarked on expanding their capacity and decided to build a new distillery building so they could welcome the public through their doors so they could join them on our journey and new projects. The first one being making Whisky, keep an eye out for a very special, limited edition batch coming soon.

Their aim is to produce an artisan small batch, handcrafted spirit which reflects the Yorkshire countryside in a bottle.

A smooth Winter spicy and fruity 42% London dry gin with a base of Juniper, Coriander and Angelica Root gently overlaid with signature botanicals of dried Bitter Orange, Sultanas, Raisins, Currants, Star Anise with a kiss of Cloves and Cinnamon.

Tasting Notes

The ideal fireside tipple for cold winter nights as the Star Anise gives it snuggly warmth with a background fruity and orange finish, the flavours come in layers. This gin is totally unfiltered so when served over ice, it may turn a little cloudy as the oils come out of solution but this way, it does not lose its nose, taste and unique character when served.

Perfect Serve

Best served over ice and don’t be shy with your measure of gin. Try this gin with either ginger beer, ginger ale or simply with a plain regular tonic. Add a slice of either fresh or frozen Orange and if you want it even warmer, add a Star Anise and use a Cinnamon Stick for a stirrer.
